IT consulting and governance

Knowing what the operation uses, who has access and who answers for each piece.

As a business grows, systems, accounts and vendors pile up without anyone seeing the whole picture. We put that foundation in order: an inventory of systems, access, vendors and policies, alignment of practices with the LGPD, Brazil’s data protection law, and support with technology decisions, so the operation grows on ground it knows.

When it makes sense

Signs this area would solve something.

Not every operation needs this right now. These are the signs that usually mean it’s worth a closer look.

It makes sense when:

  • Nobody can say for sure how many systems the operation uses, or how much it pays for them.
  • People who have left the team may still have access to accounts and systems.
  • Contracts with technology vendors were signed over time, with no overall view.
  • The operation handles patient or client data and wants to align its practices with the LGPD.
  • An important technology decision is coming up, and someone independent of the vendors is needed to help weigh it.

In practice

How it shows up in each operation.

Clinics

In clinics, health data moves between scheduling, records, messages and spreadsheets. Mapping where it goes, who can access each system and which practices need to change is the groundwork for aligning the operation with the LGPD.

Companies

In established companies, knowledge about systems, passwords and vendors is often concentrated in one or two people. An organized inventory reduces that dependence and brings clarity to the next decisions.

Private practices

In small practices, consulting is usually leaner: choosing and setting up the existing tools properly, organizing access and looking after patient data from the start.

How we work

Understand first. Then build.

  1. 01

We survey what exists: systems, accounts, access, vendors, contracts and where the data lives.

  2. 02

We point out risks and gaps, such as access that shouldn’t exist, uncontrolled data and dependence on a single person.

  3. 03

We propose simple, workable policies: who grants access, how a new system comes in, what to do when someone leaves.

  4. 04

We follow how they are applied and keep the inventory up to date as the operation evolves.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions.

Is this an audit?

Not in the formal sense. The aim is to organize the operation’s technology foundation and support decisions, not to issue a compliance opinion.

Do you handle the legal side of LGPD compliance?

We don’t provide legal advice. We take care of the technical and operational side: where the data is, who can access it, how it is protected and which practices need to change. Legal questions stay with the operation’s lawyer or data protection officer, and we work alongside them when needed.

Do I need an IT team for this?

No. Governance is missed most in operations without an in-house technology structure, and the policies are designed to be applied by the people already on the team.

Do you recommend vendors?

We help assess the options based on what the operation needs. When the best answer is software from another vendor, we say so.

How do we start?

With a conversation about what is happening in the operation. The first conversation is free; the full diagnosis, with the Technology Evolution Map, is a paid service, remote or on-site by arrangement.

Want to know whether this fits your case?

Tell us what is happening in the operation. The first conversation is free and lets us understand the context before proposing any solution.

Shall we understand your operation?

The next step for your technology starts with a conversation.

You know your business, your processes and the challenges you face every day. We can help you understand how technology can respond to those needs.

Tell us what's happening in your operation. We'll talk through the context, identify possibilities and assess how Diagium can help.

You don't need to arrive with a defined solution.

We start by understanding the problem.

We take on a limited number of new projects each quarter.
